Membership Terms

Last updated: August 2026

1. About your membership

LocalCard membership is a monthly recurring subscription that gives you access to exclusive offers from local partner businesses, a digital membership card, and the ability to vote for local charities (subject to eligibility). Your membership is personal to you and is not transferable.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to hold a LocalCard membership. By joining, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Subscription and payment

Your membership is billed monthly at the rate shown at the time of sign-up. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. You are responsible for ensuring your payment details are kept up to date.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting us at localcard.co.uk/contact. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to member benefits until the end of the paid period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing period unless required by law.

5. Digital membership card

Your digital LocalCard membership pass is issued following successful payment. The pass is for your personal use only. You must not share your pass with others. LocalCard reserves the right to revoke a pass if misuse is detected.

6. Offers and partner businesses

Offers are provided by independent partner businesses and are subject to change. LocalCard does not guarantee the availability of any specific offer. Partner businesses may withdraw or amend their offers at any time. LocalCard is not responsible for the quality, safety or suitability of goods or services provided by partner businesses.

7. Charity voting

Active members may be eligible to vote for approved local charities to receive a share of the community pot. Voting eligibility, rules and fund allocation will be published separately before any voting round opens. Voting rights are not guaranteed and may be subject to minimum membership duration requirements.

8. Changes to membership

LocalCard reserves the right to change membership pricing, benefits or terms with reasonable notice. We will notify you by email before any material changes take effect. Continued use of your membership after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Termination by LocalCard

LocalCard reserves the right to suspend or terminate your membership if you breach these terms, misuse your membership card, or engage in conduct that is harmful to LocalCard, its partners or other members.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
